Werd nog niet gemeld nà 2004 in Brabant (fiche en Checklist Catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Belgium, 30/07/2008)
L'adulte se voit de juin à août.
Envergure 10-13 mm.
Vergelijk met D. alpinana (ukmoths) op Leucanthemum vulgare en D. flavidorsana (ukmoths) die ook op Achillea millefollium voorkomt!

 

Biotopes
Prairies, haies.
La larve se nourrit de racines de Achillea millefollium (Achillée millefeuille - Gewoon duizendblad), de la Tanacetum vulgare (Tanaisie - Boerenwormkruid) ou de la Leucanthemum vulgare (Grande Margueritte - Margriet).

 

Observations
25/07/2008, verschillende ex. in de omgeving van Boerenwormkruid, moeilijk benaderbaar, BH.
19/07/2007, tuin Stroobantsstraat, nog steeds een van de courantste motjes in mijn tuin, BH.
10/05/2007, tuin Stroobantsstraat, 1ex. van 6mm lang, BH.
02/09/2006, Moeraske, friche le long du chemin de fer, AD.
23/06/2006, Stroobantsstraat (Moeraske) een hele 'kolonie' op een door Haagwinde overwoekerd stukje in de tuin, BH.
15/06/2004, jardin sauvage voisin du Moeraske.
